Renault Kadjar

Not content with having the best-selling Qashqai in its stable, Nissan’s sister brand Renault had a go with a mid-sized SUV of its own in 2015, when it launched the Kadjar. While it shared the same platform as the Qashqai, the Kadjar didn’t sell in anything like the same numbers, and production ended in 2022 – replaced by the Renault Austral – so it’s a relative rarity on the UK used car market. It’s practical, with a big boot and a spacious interior, and it’s well equipped as standard. The interior is pretty dull, though, and it isn’t hard to find an SUV that’s more fun to drive.

Great spec car, 1.5 diesel getting 55 mpg, very comfortable drive and love to be able to split the room in the boot, good visibility all round wouldn’t hesitate to recommend

Good car, for size, space, comfy,,practical, smooth ride and 1.3tce is punchy around town! Just wish I’d checked more thoroughly as I’d have gone for Dynamic s or higher specs, as Dynamic Nav does not come with parking sensors or camera which I’m used to. Rear visibility is limited! Makes parking awkward
