The Ssangyong Tivoli is seriously cheap to buy, and offers lots of space and equipment for the money. However, with its cheap-feeling interior, noisy engine and lethargic gearbox, it feels a bit rough around the edges, and if you spend just a little bit more, there are plenty of slicker compact SUVs to choose from.

The Tivoli has all the toys I was looking for as retirement sets in. A very comfortable ride and smooth change of the automatic box. A good all round car.
