The Yaris Cross is a small SUV that makes a lot of sense if you want low running costs, ease of use and Toyota reassurance in a small and practical package. Its hybrid powertrain is especially efficient around town, the boot is practical for a car of this size, and the updated range boasts improved technology, more safety equipment and the option of a more powerful 129bhp hybrid system.
It isn’t the most exciting small SUV to drive, the ride can feel a little firm, and rear-seat space is tight compared with some rivals. The Ford Puma is more engaging, and some alternatives are more versatile, but the Yaris Cross is a sensible choice for buyers who value efficiency, dependability and day-to-day ease of use.

The car is of a good value. Everything seems to work well except the automatic parking functionality.

Heads up option. I like the hybrid recharging and don't want a battery only car.Long journeys mean recharging. I like the driving position of an SUV and dont need the size of my RAV 4 still!

I like the AWD version though I think all of the hybrid cars in SUV form are expensive and I will wait before changing my diesel RAV AWD.
