A good solid workhorse but lacks refinements of later models.

Good but disabled ramp conversion was a permanent feature and would affect future residual value for resale. Shame as I would have purchased the vehicle otherwise.

The Volkswagen Caddy is the smallest van offered by the German company, and it’s been around in Europe in its various forms since 1982. The ‘Life’ part of the name signifies that rather than being a panel van, the vehicle in question is a people carrier fitted with seats and windows. And the ‘Maxi’ part? Well, you can have both a Caddy Life in both regular and Maxi forms, the former of which seats up to five people in two rows, and the latter of which has an extended platform and seats up to seven people in three rows. The most recent Volkswagen Caddy Maxi Life was released in 2021, and shares its underpinnings with the latest Ford Tourneo Connect.
