The Kia XCeed has been updated for 2026 with new exterior styling, a fresh interior and improved ride comfort. It’s expected to be available with the same engine options as the current model, offering a choice of 1.0-litre or 1.6-litre petrol units.
Here’s what we know so far about the 2026 Kia XCeed.

2026 Kia XCeed: styling and dimensions
Kia has launched a multitude of new models in the past year or so, and now one of its oldest cars – the XCeed crossover – has had a makeover to give it the latest family look. As with the recently updated Niro and Stonic, the facelift for the XCeed cleverly applies Kia’s ‘Opposites United’ design language to an existing model, giving it a much more up-to-date appearance despite retaining much of its existing bodywork.
At the front, the revised XCeed has a new bonnet, bumper, headlights and front wings that give it a blunter, more edgy design similar to that of the EV3. There are new-look headlights with a more vertical emphasis, while the ‘Tiger Nose’ front grille has been slimmed down to little more than an extended line.
Not much has changed at the sides, but the model pictured has a new alloy wheel design that echoes those of Kia’s other models. At the rear, the bootlid, bumper and rear lights (now a full-width lightbar, of course) are all new, giving the XCeed a much squarer, more modern appearance. The single set of images released so far also appear to show a new paint colour – a very fetching light greeny-blue metallic.

2026 Kia XCeed: interior design and practicality
A completely new dashboard gives the 2026 Kia XCeed a fresh look that’s very similar to that of Kia’s latest models. There’s the same widescreen display you’ll find in cars such as the EV3, EV4 and EV5, with two separate 12.3-inch screens giving the appearance of one continuous display.
A new design for the steering wheel and centre console, along with new colours and materials, complete the freshen-up.
Kia hasn’t released any technical details, but we don’t expect there will be any changes to the interior dimensions or boot capacity. That means the XCeed will continue to be on a par with mid-size hatchbacks rather than SUVs for practicality, although its 426-litre boot capacity is reasonably generous.

2026 Kia XCeed: engines and driving dynamics
Kia says that the updated XCeed will provide ‘improved ride comfort’, so we’d expect it to have tweaked suspension settings compared with the current car.
There’s no mention of any engine upgrades, which means the XCeed is likely to offer the same options it does now – a 1.0-litre petrol with 111bhp or a 1.6-litre petrol with 175bhp. While the 1.0 is available with a manual or automatic gearbox, the 1.6 is auto-only. The previous plug-in hybrid version was discontinued in 2024.
2026 Kia XCeed: price and release date
Kia hasn’t confirmed pricing for the updated XCeed, or whether it will even be sold in the UK.
At the time of writing the pre-facelift version was still available to order in the UK, with prices ranging from £25,545 to £33,545. If the updated model does go on sale here, it’s likely to arrive in autumn 2026 and we’d expect minimal changes in pricing or spec.
