The BMW 1 Series 125d M Sport trim was a high-performance diesel variant of the second-generation version of the popular 1 Series hatchback. It had a turbocharged four-cylinder 2.0-litre diesel engine with 215bhp. It could do 0-62mph in less than seven seconds, and yet return an average fuel consumption of almost 60mpg. M Sport trim also brought visual enhancements such as 18-inch alloy wheels, a lower front bumper and side skirts, gloss black kidney grilles, blue brake calipers and chrome-tipped twin exhausts.
