The Alpine A110 is smaller and less usable than most of its rivals, it’s significantly less powerful and its badge is unfamiliar to many. Lots of sports car buyers might overlook it for those reasons, but a small number of die-hard driving enthusiasts will get more of a kick from an A110 than any comparable car. It is brilliant to drive, thanks to its compact dimensions, lightweight construction and mid-engined balance, and you might be surprised by how easy it is to live with.
