The Duster delivers what it always has done: family-friendly value for money in a crowded and very competitive SUV marketplace. For sure, its rivals are often more refined, and they deliver more in the way of features and accessories. However, such cars are almost invariably more expensive.
This latest Duster moves Dacia further away from its sometimes derided value-above-all-else roots. It’s no longer a car or brand to be joked about, as it might have been a decade ago. The addition of an upgraded full-hybrid system in 2025, alongside a new mild-hybrid powertrain option, has made the Duster even more appealing, with solid fuel economy figures across the board. There’s no denying it’s a really good looking SUV, either.

Seems good value with a lot of extras worth paying extra for Duster Extreme. 1.3 litre engine much quieter than the Journey 1 litre model I test-drived. Have owned Dacia Logan for 10 years from new with very few problems. Can't fault Dacia value for money.
