Fiat Panda

The latest version of the Fiat Panda is now very long in the tooth and, though practical and inexpensive, it’s hard to recommend over fresher, more accomplished and better built rivals such as the Kia Picanto and the Hyundai i10. It’s not without its charm, though, because the styling alone is cute and distinctive enough to draw in many punters, and used examples are cheap to buy and run. They’re rarer than the conventional models and more coveted, but the 4x4 versions are great for those who want a small, grippy car that doesn’t stray into SUV territory.

A cracking little motor. Basic but for the price is just what I wanted. Has most of the toys one would like in a car. Just a couple missing. Sat nav. Dab. But for the price I can live without. Drives very well. Good mpg.
