After 27 years, the Ford Focus is no more. Production ended in November 2025, just three years after the company announced plans to stop building the Focus and Fiesta, both former mainstays of the UK car market.
The fourth-generation Focus, launched in 2018, was the last of the line. As consumers and manufacturers have moved towards SUVs, there are fewer hatchbacks on our roads. Which is partly what makes buying a used Focus such an appealing prospect.
Given its seven-year production run, there is plenty of choice if you’re in the market for a used Mk4 Ford Focus. There are estates and hatchbacks, petrols, diesels and hybrids: not forgetting the sporty ST versions, too.

I was impressed by the car's features, particularly its modern technology, safety systems, and comfortable interior. Considering its performance, reliability, and range of features, I believe the car offers good value for money. It provides a balanced combination of comfort, functionality, and affordability, making it an attractive option for many buyers. For a more personal response: I think the car has a good range of features that make driving comfortable and enjoyable. The safety features and technology were especially appealing. Overall, I believe it is a good value because it offers a lot for its price and meets the needs of everyday driving quite well.
