The Ford Tourneo Connect is a thoroughly sensible family car that puts space, practicality and flexibility ahead of image and driving fun. Available in five- or seven-seat forms, and with a choice of petrol, diesel or plug-in hybrid power, it offers genuine van-like practicality with more car-like manners than you might expect. It isn’t the most stylish or the most engaging MPV to drive, but it’s comfortable, well-equipped and cheaper than most equivalent seven-seat SUVs.
