The Ford Tourneo Connect is one of the most practical family cars on sale, offering van-like space, sliding rear doors and the option of seven seats in the longer Grand version. It majors on usability rather than style, with cavernous boot space and an efficient diesel engine making it particularly appealing for big, high-mileage families. A plug-in hybrid broadens its appeal further, especially for those able to recharge at home.
However, the Tourneo Connect doesn’t drive with the sparkle of Ford’s best models, and its interior feels more functional than premium. Still, if outright space and versatility matter more than badge appeal or driving manners, the Ford Tourneo Connect makes a convincing case for itself.
