The car was good value and performs well. Seat position is tight for a short person. Also, to read the displays means lifting the seat position which means thighs gets closer to the steering wheel. Rear spoiler splits rear windscreen, which takes a bit of getting used to. Overall, I am pleased to have purchased it.

Underpowered under acceleration. Apart from that, its a great, reliable car.

I came out of driving a 2.2 litre toyota avensis diesel function: like most japanese cars, there are very few rattles. japanese engines do 250k miles without issues. high MPG. at present 56mpg. style: nice enough. serves function interior: not as good as previous. feels relatively plastic, but fit and finish is done well. 1.6 litre diesel on the honda civic, has similar acceleration as the 2.2 litre avensis. but need to keep revs in the 2 - 3k range. otherwise it has very little power. good small car. likely reliable. no car tax is a bonus. But I miss the space in a saloon.
