Honda Civic Mk8 Review (2005-2010)

Honda’s designers had fun with the eighth-generation Civic. All of a sudden, this byword for sensible, reliable motoring was all dressed up in futuristic clothing that made other family hatchbacks of the day look bland. While the designers may have gotten a little carried away, the engineers didn’t: underneath the pocket-spaceship styling, the Civic hatchback is every bit as dependable as you’d expect of a Honda.

I have had a 2008 civic se 1.4 from new for thirteen years, I have done 90,OOO faultless miles in it. The car still pulls away like a dream drives like a dream, Its like a bottle of vintage wine, it gets better with age and distance. I have just bought a new civic, fancied an upgrade but reluctant to get rid of the old one, Its just such a straight forward car car.

Bought Civic to replace 4 door Civic written off in small shunt Still prefer my old 4 door Civic, but this one is great as well . Love my Civics. Best cars I’ve owned, and I’ve had jags Mercs and Big beemers..
