The Jeep Compass is one of those cars that will suit a certain kind of buyer very well indeed, but for everyone else, there are better options available for less money. The buyer it suits is one that needs some genuine off-roading ability from their compact family SUV, ability it has in spades if you choose the four-wheel drive 4xe plug-in hybrid version. The car also impresses with its space, practicality and equipment, while big improvements have been made over the previous Compass in terms of quality, refinement and technology. However, it remains a slightly niche choice, and a rather expensive one at that.

Good value and the interior is above average size with more than average leg room at the back.
