There’s a reason the Kia Sportage has proven so popular: clever touches inside aid its practicality, while equipment levels are generous. It’s not very exciting to drive, and the ride can get a bit clumpy if you go for a model with big wheels. But on the whole, the Sportage is a solid all-rounder that does the job of hauling a family around in an unspectacular, but hassle-free fashion.

Kia Sportage GTLineS 2l diesel - brilliant car. Comfortable ride, economical, spacious especially as this is an estate which I think has a slightly bigger boot. Also AWD. Our car is one of the top spec cars however don’t expect all the fancy gadgets that you get on the same spec Sorento. Some things missing such as 360 camera, different drive modes, air cooling seats, blind spot warnings and a few other bits of kit. Still love it though - does the job for us.
