| Opulent interior | Historically shaky reliability record |
| Hugely roomy and practical | Pricey to buy and run |
Quick Summary
The Range Rover (2022-present) is a full-size, luxury SUV that masterfully blends world-class off-road capability with opulent comfort and a refined finish. Built on the new MLA-Flex platform, it features active four-wheel drive and advanced Terrain Response. Power comes from mild-hybrid petrol and diesel six-cylinders, a potent V8, and plug-in hybrids offering up to 70 miles of electric range. Available in standard and long-wheelbase forms, including a seven-seat option, its design is a modern, minimalist evolution of the iconic Range Rover.
Inside, the Range Rover boasts an exquisite cabin centered around a 13.1-inch Pivi Pro touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto. Practicality is excellent, with a 725-litre boot, a signature split tailgate, and generous passenger space, including limousine-like legroom in LWB models. Driving is sublime, offering exceptional refinement, comfort from active air suspension, and surprisingly agile handling for its size due to all-wheel steering. While expensive to acquire and maintain, the PHEVs can offer significant running cost savings with regular charging.
Best for: Drivers seeking the pinnacle of luxury SUVs, world-class off-road capability combined with opulent comfort, generous space (including a seven-seat option), or plug-in hybrid efficiency for urban use.
Not ideal for: Budget-conscious buyers, those sensitive to potential long-term reliability concerns, or those prioritising a more responsive infotainment system.

Fantastic car, would definitely recommend. Lots of “toys” and extremely comfortable.
