Lexus was building hybrid SUVs long before it became fashionable, and the original RX launched in 1998. Today's fourth-generation model went on sale in 2015 and received some technical and styling updates in 2020. Every RX uses hybrid power, and the regular model has five seats, while the bigger RX L has space for seven. In either form, the Lexus RX is a well-equipped and fuel-efficient large SUV.
