| Pros | Cons |
|---|---|
| Strong value compared with rival electric SUVs | Pre-2025 cars have less generous standard equipment |
| Excellent passenger space and a large boot | Touchscreen can be slow to respond on earlier models |
| Comfortable ride and well-judged handling | Sporty vRS version prioritises pace over enjoyment |
Quick Summary
The Skoda Enyaq, launched in 2020 and updated in 2025, is Skoda's flagship electric family SUV, designed for space, practicality, and sensible prices. It quickly became popular, offering a roomy and comfortable experience. The 2025 update brings design improvements, enhanced efficiency, and more standard equipment, with variants including a standard SUV, Coupe, and sportier SportLine/vRS, all built on the Volkswagen Group's MEB platform.
The Enyaq excels in comfort and refinement, making it easy to drive around town and quiet on motorways, with excellent ride quality and a relaxed character. Its spacious interior includes a 585-litre boot and generous rear passenger room. Charging speeds are a strong point, with up to 175kW DC rapid charging, and running costs are generally low, offering competitive pricing for a long-range family EV and attractive company car tax benefits.
Best for: Families needing space and practicality, buyers seeking a comfortable and refined electric SUV, those prioritising value in the EV market, and company car drivers.
Not ideal for: Buyers seeking a flashy or overtly tech-led interior, those requiring seven seats, or those prioritising extreme sportiness over comfort.

4 Overall rating
(2 reviews)Very good value,very nice car,lots of extras,lots of storage, great car
This car is a family car. Once purchased according to Skoda you can not fit a Tow Bar. This I understand is due to the Vin plate not stamped with the appropriate capability in factory. They say prep must be carried out with them. What good is this. All marketing leaflets etc show weights car is able to Tow. I placed an order with a showroom car . Day after I remembered I need Tow Bar for my bikes. Skoda say No, must be fitted at factory. Had to cancel order. Car only 50K ! Legal requirement in Uk. Skoda also said you can put bikes on roof rack. Must have Superman at factory to lift e bikes. I will now spend my 50k with a competitor.
