Suzuki Alto Review (2009-2014)
The Suzuki Alto is an inexpensive city car that’s cheap to run, reliable and easy to look after. It’s not a refined or notably practical compact runabout, however, and its safety rating isn’t great compared to some alternatives. Consequently, it’ll quickly get knocked off some shortlists. However, those seeking a straightforward car may find that the Suzuki’s affordability and other plus points outweigh its foibles.
3.5 Overall rating
(4 reviews)Basic car, and the lowest spec is basic. It is a very small car- positive it has 5 doors. But it is cheap and cheerful and cheap to run
Car runs really well for the 2 days Ive had it, clutch has a higher biting point than Im used to but Ill get used to that in time, never drove a Suzuki before. Nice and quiet engine and only £20 for road tax!
The steering is far too heavy. Power steering was introduced on later models. Also the drivers seat is too low and at a poor angle. The seat cannot be raised.
No central locking or air con or alloy wheels unfortunately
