Not the first name to trip off the tongue when one thinks about small supermini-sized hatchbacks, the Suzuki Swift does nonetheless make a very strong case for itself. With funky styling, a good cabin with decent space, perky engines and agile handling, the Swift is as enjoyable to live with as it is fun to drive along a quiet B-road. It deserves a spot on your shortlist at the very least.
