The Aygo excels in town, proving extremely easy to manoeuvre, but struggles on motorways where the engine becomes noisy and strained. Running costs are exceptionally low, with no VED for pre-April 2017 models, inexpensive servicing at around £145, and small, affordable tyres. The timing chain engine eliminates costly belt replacement concerns. Toyota's excellent reliability and long warranty make this an outstanding choice for budget-conscious buyers prioritising dependability over driving dynamics.
