The Vauxhall Corsa is a popular choice for those seeking a sensibly priced supermini. This generation of the Corsa, launched in 2006 and sold until 2014, was available in many different guises, including a high-performance VXR variant. All were well built and drive competently. It isn’t as much fun to drive as a Fiesta, and doesn’t have the cachet of a Volkswagen Polo, but it does offer good value for money.
