For decades the Volkswagen Golf has been the hatchback of choice for those seeking dependable, reliable, well-made, comfortable transportation. When the Golf mk6 arrived on British shores in 2009 it continued the good works of its forebears. Although effectively a hearty facelift of the Golf mk5, the new Golf was even quieter and more refined, and the quality (if not the design) of its interior fittings was significantly improved.

The mk 7.5 the Golf at its best, you forget how much of a great everyday car and drive the Golf is. Really well made comfortable interior, even if a little bland and an infotainment system that works with nobs and none of this new slider touch sensitive carry on. Decent load capacity with really nice handling and driving dynamics.
Its a good car and affordable. Simple and easy to use features
The golf in gereral i found was excellent all round. I have had 2 previous 1 mk5 and a mk6 got rid if the bmw for the mk6 in a bad winder as the golf was sure footed. Felt a lot safer in bad weather. Only difference was bith my previous golfs were diesel and the petrol drives slightly different. But i would buy another
The wing is starting to rust the sills are rusting its heavy on the diesel it is nice on the inside its nice to drive would not recommend to buy one wish I had went for something else
