The Touran is one of the big-name, obvious choices when it comes to MPVs, for one simple reason: it’s a really good seven-seater people carrier that does what it’s designed to do almost perfectly. It’s not flashy and it’s not designed to put a smile on your face when you hit country roads; no, it’s built to carry lots of people and things in comfort, and you’ll be hard pressed to find anything of its size and price that does a better job. The world might be falling hard for SUVs right now, but the Touran is proof that if you need lots of space, then the MPV is still hard to beat.
