Peugeot 208

Peugeot does small cars well, and the 208 is arguably its best offering yet in the supermini class. Like the 207, the 206, and the 205 before it, it majors on low running costs, neat styling, and sharp handling. The first 208 was introduced in 2012 and its replacement arrived in 2019, instantly becoming a contender for the most stylish model in its class. The supermini sector is shrinking as manufacturers chase larger, more profitable cars – see the now-defunct Ford Fiesta for details – but the 208 nonetheless goes up against long-established rivals, such as the Volkswagen Polo, the Renault Clio, and the Seat Ibiza.

Excellent build quality and a pleasure to drive. Lots of great features like the 3D Dash display, nicely laid out Plenty of performance from the relatively small engine. 99 positives 1 negative is that the foot pedals are a little too close together. All in all a brilliant little car

This is my 2nd 208. I have a 2018 208gtlne as well. I have driven lots of cars and vans over the last 40 years including Teslas and hybrids. Quite simply the 208 is the best used medium size hatchback on the market. The new 208 is even better.
