The fourth-generation, or E46, BMW 3 Series was something of a high point for BMW, with slick driving dynamics that burnished BMW’s reputation as a maker of fine drivers’ cars, and a high-quality interior that marked it out as a cut above more mainstream options like the Ford Mondeo. And its suave styling means it still looks brilliant even today.

Really pretty car, a joy to drive. Driving a convertible is a unique experience. Makes every trip to the shops a real treat. A true future classic.

Electronics on these cars are an absolute nightmare I would advise people to steer clear of secondhand vehicles after around 50k they start becoming unreliable the best thing about them is the fuel economy is brilliant
