Launched in 2014 and retired from service in 2020, the second-generation Hyundai i20 isn’t fancy or exciting, but it offers a lot of car for the money. Early entry-level models didn’t come with much, but other cars in the range, particularly those that followed the 2018 facelift, offer decent technology, plenty of space and an easygoing driving experience. A Ford Fiesta will be more fun, but don’t turn your nose up at the humble i20.
