The Jeep Grand Cherokee is a large luxury SUV with serious off-road prowess. It’s aimed at rivals such as the Volkswagen Touareg and BMW X5 but, thanks to its off-road talents, it’s also a viable alternative to the eminently capable Land Rover Discovery. Its running costs and uninspiring interior can leave some wanting, however, but a used example can be a smart buy.

Brilliant vehicle. I’ve had 4 of them. Used for towing horse box. The pulling power is more than sufficient along with superb reliability. Saying that, preventative maintenance is my mantra. A little expensive on day to day running costs but, you get what you pay for. Luxury and comfort with all the toys. Looking for number 5.
This car is a SP{ORT Utility Vehicle , 0-60 in 5 seconds, top speed 160mph. Has every bell and whistle. I am compering this with my 2002 Grand Cherokee 4.7litre. Immaculate condition and a good price.
It had some poor paintwork and the engine was really noisy. The alloys were badly chipped. Overall not worth the money being asked. Would probably go for the grand Cherokee for upgraded features for the same price. Expected more for a car with this mileage.
A fully equipped car with lots of potential but needs to be cared for and it will serve you well.
