The Land Rover Discovery is a world-class off-roader that has evolved into a world-class luxury family car. The current D350 mild-hybrid diesel delivers 345bhp and 700Nm of torque, offering strong performance with a 0-62mph time of 6.3 seconds and up to 35mpg. Whilst the Discovery is expensive to own, with substantial servicing and maintenance costs, it represents excellent value compared with larger luxury SUVs such as the Mercedes-Benz GLS and BMW X7.
