Small SUVs were a fairly new idea in 2010 when the Mitsubishi ASX went on sale. The trouble is, they're not new anymore and just about every mainstream manufacturer has one. Most of them are more recent designs than the ASX, and better to drive. On the plus side, the ASX is more rugged than most crossovers and there are proper 4x4 versions alongside the front-wheel-drive models.

It's a lovely car. Drives well, fits 2 car seats in the back but the remaining space is small even for an older child that no longer needs a car seat. Nice features, love the panoramic roof. Boot size is fair. Overall I would recommend.
