A classy-looking front-wheel drive supermini available as both a three-door and five-door hatchback, the first-generation Peugeot 208 is reasonably fun to drive and offers buyers a huge choice of lively and economical PureTech petrol and BlueHDi diesel engines. The 208’s cabin has a premium feel to it, and most versions are nicely equipped. The range is broad, spanning from ‘first car’ models through to a hardcore hot hatch.

This is my 2nd 208. I have a 2018 208gtlne as well. I have driven lots of cars and vans over the last 40 years including Teslas and hybrids. Quite simply the 208 is the best used medium size hatchback on the market. The new 208 is even better.
