That the 5008 morphed from an MPV to an SUV in its second-generation says everything you need to know about current trends in the new car market. Peugeot didn’t throw the baby out with the bathwater, though, so while the 5008 has SUV looks, it does come with some MPV practicality, not least the ability to seat seven, which makes it a spacious and versatile family car that’s stylish and sensibly priced, too.
