Porsche 911 997 Review (2004-2011)
The legendary Porsche 911 is a sports car that's been wowing drivers since the 1960s, and has gradually evolved over the years. New versions are never a big leap forward, more a few choice upgrades and tweaks to continue the legacy. This version, launched in 2004, is known as the 997 or Gen2, and – as with pretty much all 911s – offers a hugely involving and exciting experience behind the wheel.

(5 reviews)Lots of power. Very quick acceleration. Nicely finished. Great drivers car
has everything i need, daily driver, thrill machine for my son, very special to anybody who appreciates class with timeless style. now i have a nice example its going to be in family for generations
I really do like it. Thanks very much for sharing.
The 997.1 has two major issues, the IMS bearing which fails in a percentage of cars destroying the engine, and Bore Scoring, which results in excessive oil consumption. These issues have been resolved in the 997.2. Apart from that its a great car, excellent handling great performance and superb looks. There arent may cars to compare it with apart from other Porsche models like the Cayman, which is cheaper and has more luggage space but perhaps lacks the cache of the 911.
It’s going to be a classic n the car is small n not as big.
