Renault Captur

The Captur is Renault’s offering in the immensely popular small SUV segment. The original was launched in 2013 and quickly established itself as a good value option with a spacious cabin. It was replaced by the second-generation model in 2020, which kept the same qualities of a practical and flexible cabin at a sensible price, but was a lot more stylish, had a smarter interior, and added a plug-in hybrid option. It competes with fellow small SUVs, such as the Nissan Juke, the Skoda Kamiq, and the Volkswagen T-Cross. That’s the tip of the iceberg for competition in this sector, though.

Good value and car contained all the features we required. Engine smooth and handling light. Sat Nav and infotainment simple to navigate as well as good quality. This was a 6 speed manual which was easy to change and responsive. Comparable to the Nissan Qashqia and smaller Ford Ecosport.
