The Renault Twingo is cute, quirky and charming, and its unconventional rear-engined layout results in a tight turning circle, which means it’s great around town, too. However, this isn’t the most endearing city car to drive, and its tiny boot, tricky clutch, gutless engines and bouncy ride may conspire to put you off.
