The Leon is a sleek, stylish five-door family hatchback that shares much with the Volkswagen Golf, but has a more flamboyant approach to motoring, both in looks and driving experience. Available in a range of trims and with a variety of engines, it’s a very viable alternative to more established hatchbacks, and it’ll often be cheaper, too.

Only had the car for a short while but really impressed with the smoothness of the drive and how quiet it runs.
