The GR86 is the successor to the much-loved __[Toyota GT86](https://www.cargurus.co.uk/research/Toyota-GT86-2012-mg438)__ launched in 2011. It’s a rear-wheel-drive sports car that weighs very little and doesn’t produce an awful lot of power: a simple recipe conjured up to deliver a brilliant driving experience at very normal, very legal speeds. Having gone on sale in 2022, then discontinued in 2025, it had a short life. What’s more, only 500 examples of the GR86 came to the UK. But if you can get yourself a used one, you’ll undoubtedly have an absolute hoot.
