Look beyond the Vauxhall Astra’s slightly dreary reputation, and you’ll find a car of surprising talent. It isn’t as sharp to drive as a Ford Focus or as well-made as a Volkswagen Golf, but there’s plenty to like. Low prices make it sensational value, and it offers a lot more equipment for the money than many more expensive rivals.

(23 reviews)I turned up they had pressure washed the engine, it was dry when I inspected before taking it for a test drive. When I drove off test drived got back it was smoking everywhere and the man tried to tell me it was spilt engine oil.... It was not!
ive got astra 2.0 cdti elite 13 reg never had any problems withit in 6 years been a joy to own
The car is a good deal for the money. I like it
