The relaunched Vauxhall Frontera marks something of a dramatic departure from its rugged 4x4 predecessor, transforming into a practical front-wheel-drive crossover that is all about affordability and not one bit about off-road capability. Available as both a mild hybrid and fully electric model, the Frontera is aimed squarely at budget-conscious buyers seeking everyday usability. While it shares its underpinnings with the Citroen C3 Aircross, the Frontera has an ace up its sleeve when it comes to pricing, with Vauxhall offering the electric version for less than the mild hybrid. This makes it one of the most affordable EVs on the UK market, and certainly the best value given its size and range.
