Picture of Volkswagen ID.5 (2022-2026) The Volkswagen ID.5 is the swoopier, sportier-looking version of the Volkswagen ID.4. It’s still a practical, five-door pure electric SUV, but the more raked roofline and sharper styling is intended to bring a bit more of a ‘want one’ factor. It certainly drives nicely, even if it’s not the fizzy, sports SUV handling experience that some might be looking for. Between some middling practicality and comfy but uninspiring handling, the ID.5 is a fine EV, but not top of its class.
