The BMW i4 is a polished, premium executive car that proves BMW really does understand how to make an EV feel, well, like a proper BMW. It’s comfortable and genuinely rewarding to drive, with a low-slung driving position and a chassis that feels more engaging than most electric rivals. Range and charging performance are competitive, the cabin feels properly premium, and while it isn’t cheap – and it isn’t the most spacious option in the class, either – the i4 stands out for its blend of everyday usability and driver appeal. If you want an electric car that combines steering feel, ride comfort and plentiful straight-line speed, the BMW i4 makes a very strong case for itself.
