Honda has been in the mid-size SUV game for a long time with the CR-V. Like a lot of long-serving rivals, such as the Toyota RAV-4, the original 1995 model started life as a more of a basic and boxy compact 4x4 than the svelte SUV you see today. Five more generations followed, and the most obvious change is that it’s now much bigger and has become one of the larger SUVs in this class on the market, with a spacious boot and plenty of room in the back seats – there’s even a seven-seat version. There are a lot more competitors in this sector than when the CR-V first arrived, though, with strong rivalry from the likes of the Hyundai Tucson, the Kia Sportage, and the Skoda Kodiaq.

The CRV is a good touring car, economical, reliable & a good car for towing caravans, not many modern cars have these attributes. I have driven Hondas both cars & motorcycles and found them excellent.
Basically it is a Honda and will do @ 250,000 miles. It has all the extras and more. There is no comparable car to beat it.
A very good car build quality is great. If you look after your Honda (regular service etc) it will look after you. My previous Honda was 100k+ bullet proof, oil changes and tyres thats all I had to do.
