The Countryman is MINI’s foray into the SUV market. It might seem like a contradiction in terms to have a larger family car with the name ‘MINI’ written on it, but it targeted customers that loved the charm and retro character of the MINI Hatch, but simply needed more room. This first generation, reviewed here, proved a hit; it kept that quirky appeal and was fun to drive, while offering an enhanced level of practicality.

Great car, lovely to drive with lots of built in handy features including Bluetooth, Dab, sliding rear seats. Also enough room to fit three children seats on the rear seats which is great for a smaller family car.

Great value sometimes a little hard to see out of the side windows when turning into a tight junction but g great to drive .
