With an impressive real-world range, strong performance and a hushed, high-quality cabin, it makes for an excellent motorway cruiser and a convincing electric alternative to a traditional Mercedes E-Class. It isn’t perfect – rear headroom and visibility could be better, and key rivals offer more driving involvement or practicality – but if you value refinement, modern technology and relaxed long-distance capability, the EQE is a compelling choice in the hard-fought premium EV class.
