Launched in 2022, the third-generation Peugeot 308 offers a choice of electric, petrol-hybrid and diesel powertrains in a package we really love: the family hatchback. With so many SUVs on the market and an ever-decreasing number of new hatches, it’s good to see cars like the 308, along with the closely related Vauxhall Astra, still committed to the cause. Refreshed for 2026, the 308 is now more polished and desirable, although it struggles to stand out against some capable rivals.
