Overview
Toyota GT86 Review (2012-2021)
On the face of it, the GT86 has all the makings of a legendary 2-2 sports coupe, thanks to its low centre of gravity, front-engined, rear-wheel drive layout and drift-on-demand handling. Unfortunately, though, the sum of these parts does not really add up, due to lacklustre performance, rough mechanical refinement and an interior exuding all the charm of a drafty out-house. Of course, for many, this raw-edged character and real-world performance are what make the GT86 so appealing.
