It’s hard to argue with the evolution of the Volkswagen T-Roc. By making it usefully larger than before, it’s now an even more well-rounded alternative to a Volkswagen Golf hatch, for those who don’t need something as large as a Volkswagen Tiguan. The range of hybrid petrol engines is also customer-focused, as are the well-specced trim lines. There are no shortage of rivals in the small family SUV sector, not least the top-selling Nissan Qashqai. The Volkswagen T-Roc has always performed well against them though, and is actually VW’s second best-selling SUV in the world, behind only the Tiguan. The firm is hoping this all-new model, which owes plenty to the larger Volkswagen Tiguan, will help bolster its performance even more.
