With the third-generation car, the Renault Clio grew up. It's a considerably bigger car than either of the earlier Clio models, with lots of space inside. The Clio mk3 is still a chic-looking small car, but greater practicality makes it a fine all-rounder. As a used buy, the Clio mk3 is now something of a bargain, and worth considering as an alternative to a Ford Fiesta or Volkswagen Polo.
